Hi Friends!
I am concluding my week of summer travel. On the airplane, while my daughter slept, I was able to read some of the print magazines I’ve let pile up over the past several months. Then, like your snail mail penpal, I clipped articles, recipes, books I wanted to read, and the like for you. (By which I mean, I took photos of the pages.) I’ve also linked to what I could find on the internet — but a lot of this is not online! Which is kind of refreshing?
What you are receiving in this email (in case you’re new here) is different than how I normally frame my ten things (a round-up of recommendations), but I always loved getting this kind of thing in the mail, so here we are. Let me know if you try any of these and like them — and maybe so will I.
As always: The first three are free, and paid subscribers get seven extra “clippings.” Also, I recommend subscribing to print magazines. It’s very fun to get mail and to have something to read if ever you find yourself on an airplane. I’ve linked to subscribe links to each of these on first mention.

I don’t know if you knew this about me, but I am a huge slut for lotion. I’m going to ask for this as the only thing I’d like as a Winter Holiday Gift. Filing it away until then. I like an expensive gift that is small and will last a long time, and I like the idea of a pastry chef who has invented a lotion.
